Where’s the Deira Old Souq station? Located in Al Ras, Deira, the station serves as a hub for traditional abras ferrying passengers across the creek.

Recently renovated, the station preserves the area’s cultural identity, now transformed into a tourist corridor by Dubai Municipality’s enhancements.
What’s an abra? The abra, meaning “to cross” in Arabic, is a traditional boat shuttling passengers between four stations along Dubai Creek. Each abra carries about 20 passengers, with 150 boats operating daily from 6 am.
Despite being motorized, abra crossings take only five minutes, ideal for commuters and tourists alike.
How to get a ticket? Pay with your Nol card or purchase a ticket at the counter. Fare:
